I have some neat images for you to download, print and use in your schools to decorate or print out as gifts.
During my classes we talked about the moon missions. My grade 8 students did not know much about apollo. In fact many do not know that the moon is the only other place we have landed. I have an apollo 11 plaque replica I scanned to give copies as rewards, maybe you would like to do the same. Apollo 11 Good article on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_11 Hires poster explaining the mission
Since I had to answer questions from students about how long it would take to reach a planet in another solar system, I talked about the probes that were launched some 30 years ago and have not yet truly left our solar system. Amazing that Voyager 1 still works. Large image of the pionner plaque to download and print http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pioneer_plaque
